ESSER INDEX reviews are guided by three principles:
- Traceable evidence — Product claims are checked against specifications, direct observations, and clearly identified limits
- Use in motion — Fit and comfort are judged during the activity, commute, and wash cycle a product is meant to survive
- Value honesty — A recommendation must explain who benefits, who should skip it, and how price affects the verdict
What We Do Not Do
- Accept payment for reviews or coverage placement
- Let affiliate commission rates influence which products we recommend
- Publish content that has been reviewed or approved by any brand
- Guarantee favorable coverage in exchange for product samples
Updating Our Content
We review articles when materials, fit, availability, safety information, or pricing changes could alter the conclusion. Material corrections are incorporated promptly and each article displays its latest review date.
